We are first time fur parents to our little teddy bear ‘Bentley’ (18 month old cavoodle) who has a quiet, shy and gentle nature. We became aware he suffers a little anxiety and decided how could we help him be not so scared and overwhelmed and that’s when The Waggery team became apart of lives.
The first weeks he had there he would sit on the couch just looking at all the fur friends play and couldn’t wait to come home, but then all of a sudden he made significant changes by being involved in play, socializing, interacting with different breeds and creating relationships with his favourite pals. Now he knows when its day care day! He’s too excited to eat breakfast and when we turn down Rerock Drive he’s at the window crying until we reach his second home then out the car he goes straight to the small door area looking at the staff like I’m here with not a look back (yes still breaks my heart) but is gorgeous when he greets me for pick up the same way. While spending his day at The Waggery he is given so much attention and care, which doesn’t go unnoticed with the kindness of the team sending sms or videos from our little man.
Tessa’s knowledge is nothing short of amazing offering tips and guidance to give the most and get the most out of our fur kids. We loved the old facility but the Waggery 2.0 is pure doggy heaven. Our little boy is always tired for days after and a tired puppy is a happy puppy after visiting his special place once a week.
